Anstee 23 October at 14:14 For anyone living in or around the Kent
area - ROOTS (Rainham Oast Old Time Sessions) run on 1st & 3rd
Wednesday of the month at the Rainham Oast Community Centre, Granary Close,
Rainham, Kent ME8 7SG. Most weeks the session is run as an open mike (not
sure if that is the right term as it is all acoustic). All are welcome -
whether you are a beginner, more advanced or just want to listen. We also
feature bands / individual musicians from the USA & UK. This last week
we were lucky have The Corn Potato String playing at the club. The music
was enjoyed by all of the audience. Lots of dancing by both Lindsay McCaw
and from the members of the audience. And on Wednesday 3rd February 2016 we
will be having Evie Ladin from the USA - performing - Old Time, Body music
& flatfooting. Hope to see some of you soon. Josie Anstee & Graham
